Take Shelter is a fast-acting, color-changing formula that removes embedded contaminants including brake dust, rail dust, iron deposits and environmental fallout from paint, wheels and glass. It’s gel formula clings to surfaces providing added dwell time. It is pH neutral and turns purple once it reacts with ferrous metals. It is safe to use on paint, glass, wheels, stainless steel, chrome and clear coated aluminum!
DIRECTIONS: SHAKE WELL. Wash all heavy soils from surface prior to application. You may use this product full strength or mix 3 parts water to 1 part Take Shelter.Spray product liberally on wet, cool surface. Allow product to dwell for 2-3 minutes then use a wash mitt, sponge or soft brush to agitate surface. Rinse completely with clean water. Do not apply to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight. Do not allow product to dry on surface. Do not use on anodized aluminum or any other surface that is not clear coated. Use only as directed.

I love this stuff. I've never used an iron remover before, and using Take Shelter before Sud Bubble (soap) made my GLE shine like new.

I used this product for some type of over spray that was left on my vehicle from a bodyshop. I used it exactly as explained in the instructions and it didn't remove anything. My package also took forever to be delivered, not what I was expecting

Works great on restoring old/antique sewing machines as it helps remove 0xidation from the paint when the shellac is worn away. Oh it also works great on our steelies on our dailies.
I used the O E Clean on my car seat and it worked great! The stain spot was gone, no discoloration of the cloth worked perfectly! Tell Sarah Thank you for a really good product. I have not used the Bug and Tar remover yet, I'm sure it works as good as the O E Clean. Thank you Paul

It took less than 4 minutes to remove oil and coolant off my engine from a repair. the wheel cleaner kills it. Carful. that fall out one smells like hell ass. But I bet it removes rust and other crud.

He is currently sitting atop my desktop computer. Adorable is an excellent word to describe him. (It is a he is it not?) He constantly reminds me about Sarah and her colorful humor. He also reminds me how much fun it would be to work with her down where it is much warmer than her home state. Oh well. He should be thrilled with the big snow storm that is about to hit us. I am quite the opposite. So, it's a draw between us. At least we agree that Sarah is the best thing to happen to the automobile world in a long time.
